Finance Analyst / Associate for an Asset Management Firm
We are looking for an exceptional analyst or associate with a minimum of 2-4 years of investment banking, public accounting, real estate or corporate finance and/or MA experience. The candidate will be based in London and work with the Finance teams in London and the US.
The primary functions are as follows:
Financial modelling of the firm's accounts, including scenario analysis, accretion/dilution analysis and waterfall creation.
Preparing regular financial reporting and forecasting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
Preparing presentations for investors, lenders and internal audiences.
Ad hoc analysis as requested by senior management.
Understanding of GAAP accounting, IFRS and cash flow modelling, with the skill to explain the impact of each.
The candidate must be passionate about understanding the fundamentals of corporate finance. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity that will afford the successful candidate significant responsibility and the opportunity to help grow a successful team within a diversified platform.
Required Knowledge:
Undergraduate degree from a top academic instituion
CFA designation or progress towards CFA is preferred
Knowledge of financial modelling/forecasting and budgeting, as well as working knowledge of the fundamentals of finance, lending and/or asset management company business model's.
Minimum of 2-4 years of investment banking, public accounting, real estate finance, MA and/or private equity experience.
Must have extremely strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
