Finance and Accounting Systems Implementation Manager recruitment
Role Description
- This is a regional role that will oversee the delivery of full lifecycle development of multiple projects, liaising closely with stakeholders, delivery partners, vendors, and business analysts.
- Overseeing managing production support is a key responsibility here.
- Experience with insurance systems and product is preferred.
- Background in handling large projects in FA domain is essential.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all systems deliverables, checking for quality, completeness and adherence to SDLC
- Overall responsible for delivery of systems projects to be on time and on budget
- Working closely with the following parties:
- Engaging business stakeholders - for business requirements
- Liaising and managing the companies delivery partners for systems implementation matters and infrastructure needs
- Liaising and managing third party system developers
- Engaging Country systems team, as necessary
- Tracking and managing project progress, from analysis through to deployment
- Involving regional systems team - Application, Infrastructure, Security/Governance Leads - for guidance and inputs
- Ensuring successful execution of production support and maintenance activities and adhering to the organizational targets of quality, timeliness and costs
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience, of which the last 5 years have been in delivery Project Management
- Experience in managing a large sized team and skilled in managing vendors and stakeholders across regions.
- Experience with Global Delivery model spread across multiple countries
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent coordination and communications skills
- Exposure to Finance and Accounting domain - essential
- Ability to multi-task as supporting multiple and concurrent projects are necessary
- Experience in insurance systems and technology preferred
- Service delivery knowledge (ITIL)
- PMP/Prince2 certification is an advantage
