We are looking for professionals who can take on a broad range of tasks such as assisting with the implementation of accounting and financial systems, organising and keeping financial or budget accounts, assisting with the closure of the accounts and the presentation of financial statements, monitoring financial and budget procedures participating in drawing up the budget estimates and the annual reports and accounts as well as  many other aspects of the financial and accounting work of the EU Institutions.

Requirements:

•    You have at least 3 years of professional experience in financial management and/or accounting after completing post-secondary education in this field. Or you have a completed secondary education in another field with at least 6 years of professional experience in Finance and/or accounting.
•    You have a good command of at least two European languages (your native language plus English, French or German).
•    Your professional skills include accuracy and precision, prioritising and organising, good communication and the ability to consistently deliver high quality results

After submitting your application, you will be invited to take part in a competitive selection procedure during which we can get to know you and assess your mastery of the skills needed to work as a  Finance or Accounting professional in a multilingual European working environment.

The procedure has two phases: first a series of multiple-choice tests to assess your reasoning and professional skills. If you are among the highest scoring applicants in the first phase, you will be invited to Brussels to take part in a number of exercises at our assessment centre, including an in-tray exercise, a structured interview, a case study and a group exercise.
