Finance Assistant

I am currently recruiting for an experienced part -time Finance Administrator to work within a local Education facility.

Ideally candidates will have previous experience of using the SIMS system and in particular have a working knowledge of FMS and school financial practice.

You must be able to use FMS to manage key financial processes with the integrated double-entry accounting system.

Responsibilities will involve managing day-to-day financial tasks including:

· Ordering, processing and payment of orders and invoices
· Managing income and expenditure reports
· Handling payments quickly and efficiently
· Recording and banking of petty cash
· Generating reports to monitor day to day spending
· Preparing ledgers
· Allocating of school funds to the relevant cost centres
· Gathering information on staff contracts and payroll

The ideal candidates for this role will have an up to date working knowledge of SIMS along with comprehensive finance experience.
