Finance Assistant Manager

Hays senior finance, are recruiting a Finance Assistant Manager, for a 12 month contract, for a highly reputable firm in Norwich.

Key Areas of Focus:
- Coaching and development of team members
- Review and overseeing improvement of cashier, purchase ledger, budgetary and forecasting processes
- Reviewing the information produced by the finance team with the aim of producing timely and relevant information to fee earners
- Assisting the Finance Executive in the development of processes to improve the support to professional teams enabling the finance team to work far more closely with fee earners to improve production processes and profitability

Main Responsibilities:
- Acting as the main focal point / liaison between finance and our internal clients
- Review of the annual Partnership accounts and tax computations
- Review of the Limited Company Accounts and tax computations
- Administration of the partner current and capital accounts and tax accounts
- Production of the annual cash-flow budget and monthly cash-flow actuals
- Review of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Review of quarterly Management Accounts
- Review of chargeable time budgets and performance against these targets
- Review of monthly management statistics
- Review of nominal reconciliations and client accounts reconciliations
- Review of fixed asset reconciliations and reports
- Company secretarial duties
- Assisting the team with technical queries

The successful candidate
- You will be part ACA / ACCA qualified or fully CIMA qualified as a minimum
- Experience in the production of Limited Company and Partnership accounts
- Excellent excel spread sheet skills; including using data tables (index and v-lookup) and pivot tables
- Strong analytical mind with the ability to interpret and report upon data
