Finance Assistant/Office Manager
Our client, a growing business based near Stalham, Norfolk, seeks an experience Accounts Manager to join their team on a temporary basis for 8/9 months to cover maternity leave. This role will suit candidates that are available to start at relatively short notice and are willing to commit to the full length of the assignment.
Reporting to the Finance Director duties will include:
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Day to day management of team together with regular performance reviews
· Debtors’ ledger management.
· Creditors’ ledger management.
· Banking and cash book management
· Overseeing the weekly payroll process together with processing the monthly payroll
· PAYE payments and reconciliations.
· Assistance with external auditors and closure of Year end accounts, including preparation of data and files.
· Timely reconciliation, closure and reporting of monthly financial accounts
· Bank, petty cash and expenses reconciliation's
· Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
· VAT / EU sales / intrastat returns and reconciliation on the correct basis.
· Timely production of internal management financial reports
· Ad hoc reporting to Finance Director on specific projects
· Maintain and develop sound accounting systems
· Carry out additional duties to meet the needs of the business.
Suitable candidates will have recent experience in a similar level role and excellent IT and communication skills.
