Finance Business Partner
Our client, a leading global investment management institution, currently seeks a Director for the Business Finance function, to be based in London.
The Finance Business Partner - EMEA will be responsible for:
-Lead all FPA activities for EMEA 2 client businesses with a team of 5 direct reports (4 VP and 1 Associate)
-Manage processes for monthly forecasting, reporting and variance analysis
-Lead the annual planning process. Be a thought partner for the business to analyse investment in strategic initiatives.
-Continuously look for ways to enhance reporting with forward-looking and insightful information
-Participate and/or lead team-wide projects including financial modeling, ad hoc analysis, business economics, and distributor pricing
-Drive improved process and content around financial processes, including continued automation of management reporting
-Role requires significant interaction at all levels of the organisation and across multiple functions
-Key business partners include the COO and senior management across EMEA
As such, the successful Finance Business Partner - EMEA will have the following skills and experience:
-Extensive experience of budgeting, planning, and reporting, preferably in asset management or the broader financial services industry
-Ability to develop a deep understanding of the business and its key drivers
-Strong leader with ability to deliver in fast paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands
-Experience acting as a successful Finance Business Partner
-Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and multi-dimensional analytical tool skills. Proficiency with Essbase/Hyperion a plus
-Strong academics including an accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or MBA from a top-tier institution
