Amazon is looking for a Finance Business Partner (f/m) to provide financial leadership to our product lines Health Personal Care, Beauty and Personal Care Appliances, which generate hundreds of millions of Euro revenue each year. The role, which is based in Munich, will include responsibility for analysis, planning, forecasting, reporting as well as ad-hoc requests and projects. The Finance team works closely with the business units, so any candidate should be able to work well cross-functionally with both German and international teams.
As Finance Business Partner - Senior Financial Analyst (m/f) you act as direct business partner for our Retail Teams. You challenge the teams to drive long-term Free Cash Flow and influence all relevant decisions.
In particular you will be responsible for:
- Providing analytical insight and direction including evaluation of strategy, business proposals and demand generating initiatives
- Owning the annual and quarterly forecast including alignment with the Retail Teams and helping us improve the overall business planning processes
- Partnering and supporting the business and finance partners on the day-to-day business topics including promotion analysis or vendor terms condition progress
- Ensuring a high level of financial controllership, for example by overseeing monthly closing activities and taking corrective action when needed
The role requires following skills and experience:
- Significant relevant experience (financial analysis, controlling, accounting, banking or consulting)
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong controllership focus as well as solid business judgment
- Strong computer skills (including a solid working knowledge of Excel and ideally experience with a database management system)
- International experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- MBA or CPA qualification preferred
- Fluency in German is highly valued, but not a requirement
