Finance Business Partner, Leading Institutional Asset manager recruitment
My client is a leading global Institutional asset management firm with assets under management across a range of real estate, equity, fixed income, money market and alternative funds.
Due to a recent restructure, they currently have a highly commercial finance role available within their newly set up Business Partnering team.
Working alongside a Senior Finance Business Partner, the 2 of you will support the front office investment teams presenting meaningful MI and ensuring management understands how their business is progressing against their plans.
Duties include;
- Working with financial reporting and analysis team and offshore partner to produce concise and targeted financial reporting and commentary targeted to different levels of the investment business from the Investments CEO and group CFO and individual desks.
- Interrogate direct costs and embed cost control and management within the business
- Review revenue each month to ensure it’s being accrued correctly
- Activity based management and costing
- Managing the forecasting and planning process with the business
- Ad hoc analysis to support strategy and business decisions
The successful candidate’s skills experience and qualifications will ideally include;
- Qualified accountant with 2-5 years PQE
- Investment Management experience
- Revenue experience
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Demonstratable experience of dealing with senior stakeholders
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Experience of working with overseas operations and effectively managing relevant cross border information flows.
