Finance Business Partner, Wealth Advice & Distribution – ANZ Wealth – Sydney recruitment

ANZ Advice and Distribution is the business unit responsible for ANZ's financial advice businesses and for the distribution team supporting ANZ Wealth superannuation, investment and insurance products.
ANZ Wealth Finance has a dedicated 'business partnering' team responsible for the delivery of Finance support to this business. This role reports to the leader of the business partnering team, the Senior Business Partner for Advice and Distribution.
The Finance Business Partner role is a strategic role that is equal part business partnering and service implementation and improvement.
This will include:
- Pulling together key financial information on the Advice and Distribution business from a wide range of sources to create a single source of Finance truth.
- Use this information to derive key insights into the performance of the business and produce high value reporting.
- Own the team's consolidation processes and drive efficiency and accuracy to produce quality outputs.
- Act as a key point of contact for both the business and the wider Wealth Finance team. This includes direct interaction with the General Manager of the business and the Australian Wealth CFO.
- Act as the Senior Business Partner's delegate as and when required
As the role is newly created, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to design and build many of the outputs and processes relating to the role.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CA, CPA, CIMA) with substantial experience within management accounting at a senior level. Candidates will also need the following:
- The ability and experience to structure the production and publication of financial reporting and information.
- A strong grasp of business and Finance concepts, ideally with experience in the wealth industry.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to confidently interact with senior management.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
