Position Description:
This role within Finance Change Management Team involves scoping, analysis and development of business and functional requirements for redesign of Morgan Stanley's systems to correct for current deficiencies in its Product Control and Regulatory reporting space. The candidate will work on trade capture systems, vertical risk systems, sub ledger and reporting applications related to Loan products.
The initial task will surround understanding and documenting current state issues, deficiencies and functionality in order to source required data from upstream systems.
Finance is looking for an individual who is familiar with MS's Global Product Control (GPC) and/or Regulatory functions, and has an understanding of Morgan Stanley's infrastructure and processes across standard GPC functions, including PL, Balance Sheet reporting and Regulatory reporting.
Skills Required:
- Deep understanding of Loans products (Corporates, Mortgages, Credit, etc)
- Familiarity with Regulatory and SEC reporting around Loan products
- Familiarity with daily PL production processes within Global Product Control (GPC)
- Ability to document current state financial and regulatory reporting processes
