Finance Control Manager, Group Finance recruitment

We’re looking for a Finance Control Manager to take responsibility for the delivery and integrity of monthly financial information (balance sheet, profit and loss account and supporting data). Provision of value added commentary/analysis in respect of the same, and delivery of a substantiated and materially accurate Balance Sheet for Ulster Bank Corporate Market. The role involves participating in a team who are responsible for finance activity supporting £35bn of advances and £10bn of deposits with associated income in excess of £600m. All Financial reporting activity for these advances and deposits are coordinated and owned by the team.
To succeed, you will need to demonstrate:
- Solid post-qualification experience gained in a Big 4 audit environment or financial services industry.
- Significant experience of managing a team of finance professionals.
- Evidence of working to tight deadlines and managing key finance deliverables.
- Evidence of working and building strong business relationships in a changing and fast moving environment.
- That you are a qualified accountant with solid post-qualification experience.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
