Finance Control Manager- Top Tier Bank- London recruitment
I am looking for an experienced Finance Control Manager to join one a top tier bank in the City. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their business.
The Financial Control Manager has responsibility for establishing and maintaining a strong Financial Control framework within business. This role is largely business facing with many of the outputs going straight to the office
of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Duties
Provides advanced technical, analytical and business knowledge and is seen as an expert on financial and regulatory reporting matters. Management of RBB close process and production of RBB Financial Control Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports. Improve reporting of monthly close status by upgrading the design and content of the Financial Control monthly review pack (KPI). Responsible for all UK statutory reporting (including UK subsidiary accounts and RACE analysis). Perform monthly Balance Sheet reviews of related businesses.
Requirements for the role:
Professionally qualified accountant with post qualification experience in practice or industryStrong financial background with some PLC experienceUnderstanding of other international and EU developments affecting accounting Understanding of implications of SEC registrationKnowledgeable about financial reporting issues, demonstrated by: experienced gained in the technical departments of major firms or large and complex organisations
The right candidate will have proven experience performing these actions at a high level whilst working from a finance background.
Contract role offering an initial 6 months and is based in the city.
Rates of £550-£600
