Finance Controller recruitment
Role Responsibilities:
• Key member of the senior management team with responsibility for the finance function internal operations of XXXX China
• Reporting directly to the CFO
• Develop a strong finance department locally with support from the Group finance team
• Ensure that accurate and timely financial information is prepared
• Ensure that all statutory, tax and legal requirements of the business are met
• Responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts with accompanying analysis of results
• Ensure timely completion of financial audit and tax compliance within agreed budget
• Ensure all company secretarial requirements are met within due dates
• Responsible for payroll, health insurance and pensions administration
• Responsible for managing cash and working capital requirements
• Oversee monthly physical inventory counts and full reconciliation to GL
• Assist the management team in developing our operations in China
• Responsible for ensuring that proper internal controls are in place across the business
• Support management in handling the rapid future growth in the China business
• Support the management team efforts to manage costs within the changing business and ensure appropriate cost structures in place are consistent with activity levels
• Provide clear responsibilities objectives to finance team to ensure that all finance staff play a proactive in role in the business
• Ensure tight budgetary control maintained within the business
• Assist with strategy to develop MIS and its implementation
• Responsible for facilities management including planning /renegotiation of leases where appropriate
Ideal Candidate:
• Professionally qualified - CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA
• Fluent English speaking is essential
• Senior level experience of managing financial operations, at least 5 years
• Experience with a foreign multinational company is essential
• Strong knowledge of PRC GAAP, tax and statutory requirements
• A operations background is preferable, but not essential
• The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, a hands on contributor to ensure the job gets done whilst being able to utilise available resources in the most efficient and effective manner
• Willingness to travel within China and internationally
