The primary mission of Controllers is to ensure that the firm meets the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated and public financial institution.
 
The Corporate Accounting team is responsible for the financial and regulatory reporting functions for the Gao Hua entities.

We are seeking a person with a qualified accountant designation, min 2 years of professional accounting experience and solid working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS. Knowledge of PRC GAAP will be an advantage, and the successful candidate will also need to pass the Securities employment examination organized by Securities Association of China.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic BRIC market with significant growth opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will be to:
•Maintain the books and records for the Gao Hua entities
•Prepare consolidation reporting packages under US GAAP
•Prepare financial statements under local GAAP
•Prepare regulatory and statistical returns to regulators and government agencies
•Ensure that control standards are maintained and documented
•Work closely with other areas within Controllers, both in Asia and globally, as well as with other divisions
•Participate in cross-divisional projects for new business initiatives
•Develop a broad understanding of the securities business and financial products
