This is an excellent career opportunity for a high quality graduate ACA or ACMA who has built a strong career track record in manufacturing businesses. The Company is a specialist stand-alone subsidiary of a UK based industrial manufacturing group. It manufactures a broad range of components and supplies a broad customer base. It has had the benefit of recent capital investment and is poised for significant organic growth over the next three years.
Reporting to and working as a close business partner with the Managing Director, the role carries responsibility for all financial aspects of the business through financial control, cash management, the production of accurate management accounts, tax reporting, legal and company secretarial requirements and the upgrading of IT resources. The role requires the leadership of an experienced established accounting team in addition to payroll and HR. You will also work closely with the Managing Director on delivering the growth strategy of the business.
A high quality finance professional is required. You will need to be a fully qualified ACA or ACMA and ideally you will have additional qualifications of international standing such as GAAP and IFRS. You will have built your career in world class manufacturing groups and also worked in mid-sized businesses where the nature of the role demands you to be very hands on inside the business.
You must have a commercial and entrepreneurial approach to the function, be comfortable with working with a degree of autonomy and have a strong feel for the general management issues. Experience of ERP is also key and language skills in both Polish and English are required to a high level of fluency. As the parent company is significant in size and scale, you will understand how large group reporting works and you will be given a real opportunity to make an impact on this business.
