Finance Director (Part Time)

An owner-managed business located in Windsor is looking to recruit a part time Finance Director to work 2 days per week.
This role would suit a qualified professional who has previous experience of working for an SME at FD level. The responsibilities will, of course, include mainstream accounting duties such as overseeing the bookkeeper’s accounting records and dealing with the more complex accounting issues. However, the key duty is that the FD works closely with the MD to help drive profitability and help with strategic decisions.
In essence the role will involve managing the PL, produce statutory accounts, company secretarial, manage one bookkeeper, help set sales targets, intervene on problem projects, develop a culture that ensures employees take financial responsibility for their projects, business/commercial reviews, examine capital spend, set budgets and submit RD tax credits.
This is an interesting role for an experience FD who wants to commit to a local ambitious company on a part time basis.
