Finance Director recruitment
Kerten is a successful owner managed investment company executing opportunities across Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey in a variety of sectors as well as wealth management activities with investments in various asset classes (public equity, FX, property etc).
The role of Finance Director will be an integral part of an established small team, managing investments and offering the opportunity to contribute to an entrepreneurial and result oriented environment.
The role provides exposure to a broad range of investment activities, including wealth and private equity management, corporate structuring, taxation, accounting and corporate compliance.
Responsibilities will include:
• Financial management of the group including cash flow management, multi-jurisdictional accounting and financial statement preparation including compliance with relevant regulations;
• Performance management and reporting across private equity, public securities, foreign exchange, property and other alternative investment portfolios;
• Support the team in investment origination, research and appraisal, valuation, structuring, deal execution, ongoing management and exit;
• Corporation and indirect taxation planning and compliance for Private Equity group Principal and overall corporate group, across multiple jurisdictions;
• Responsibility for HR, IT, Legal and related administrative tasks.
Requirements:
• Strong work ethic,and ability to successfully execute tasks with a sense of urgency;
• University degree inaccounting/finance/economics;
• Familiarity with cross border corporate transactions;
• Must be able to work independently;
• Good interpersonal, communication and coordination skills, good team player;
• Result oriented problem solver with efficient time management skills;
• Flexibility and ability to operate in a fast moving and informal environment;
• Hands-on, hard working, practical individual with commercial/entrepreneurial flair and pragmatic approach
