Finance Director recruitment
Reporting directly into the Partners you will be responsible for all financial operations from investments through to management and statutory reporting and complex offshore tax structuring. You will be responsible for leading the finance function from the front but also work closely with the CFO in providing financial and tax due diligence for corporate acquisitions and disposals but also contribute to strategy and develop lending relationships.
Given the nature of this role it is essential that you not only demonstrate a strong track record within the property market and have the technical expertise (e.g. strong IFRS knowledge, a strong working knowledge of Special Purpose Vehicles etc.) within a Real Estate fund set up, but that you also have the commercial awareness to lead by example, roll up your sleeves and drive the function forward. Past experience has shown that you will be a qualified accountant (CA) from a Top Four practice, perhaps working your way up to senior management level before moving into an in house fund or from banking / corporate finance background. Personality will be a key driver for this role.
