About Finance Infrastructure
In Finance Infrastructure, our vision is to be a strategic partner to the business providing subject matter expertise and challenge with respect to the cost base of Deutsche Bank. We embrace a high-performance culture, in turn ensuring delivery of high quality Financial support (MIS, Financial Analysis and Controls) for all Infrastructure groups and value-based engagement with Front Office clients supported by our organization (Cost Allocation).

We are a truly global department with main hubs in London, Frankfurt, New York and Singapore supported by offshore services centres in Manila and Mumbai. We continue to respond to the fast changing environment with an increasing focus on Cost, setting the agenda for cost for the Bank, coordinating strategic deep dives identifying improvement opportunities. The high profile Complexity Reduction Programme was managed from Finance Infrastructure and is on track to deliver Eur 1Bn savings in Infrastructure costs by the end of 2011.

Role Context
A fast moving, dynamic department needs a focused and energetic COO function to provide the oil in the wheels of the department operation. The APAC COO role will provide both Regional support to the APAC team located across Singapore and India as well as other small locations and also play a role for Finance Infrastructure globally.

Responsibilities
• Regional COO support to the APAC team and regional Finance Infrastructure head
• Participation in Regional COO forums, People group, Change Leaders Group, Cost Culture working group, etc
• Regional Internal controls and risk management oversight
• Representing regional and global Finance Infrastructure on cross Finance bodies such as People Development, Graduate Recruitment and LD
• Prioritise and respond to ad-hoc matters as they arise
• Drive the global People agenda for Finance Infrastructure
• Strategic objectives development and tracking
• Ensure effective Change management across locations
• Decision support and assistance through engagement with other areas, e.g. CTB, offshore PSCs, etc.

Requirements
• Flexible, adaptable innovative
• Cost accounting / control background is required
• Ability to build relationships – proven track record of working effectively across functions and geographies
• Thinks strategically and able to deliver outcomes
• Able to prioritise and manage competing demands for time
• Experience in proactively managing stakeholders – chairing meetings, driving agendas, determining and prioritising risks and issues, documenting and following-up on actions
• A proven ability exchange ideas and challenge assumptions
• Results orientated with a strong delivery focus and a desire to succeed
• A motivated team player who has the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Has operated effectively in a matrix organisation
• Project management and process analysis skills
• PowerPoint and presentation skills a plus
