Finance – Financial Reporting recruitment
To provide finance and MI support, delivering accurate, timely and meaningful reporting and analysis of performance.
Month end Reporting
- Review and authorise journals
- Ensure monthly financials for the business lines are accurate and prepared in line with required timescales for month end close.
- Manage the processing of supplier invoices, including submission of approved invoices to Accounts Payable for processing.
Month end Reconciliations
- To review and sign off general ledger balances and reconciliations
- Work to resolve any unreconciled or aged items, and to provide relevant commentary and exception reporting.
Group and Statutory Reporting
- Review Group reporting submissions and confirm approval prior to submitting
- Provision of information to external auditors as required during annual audit, and provide accurate and timely response to audit queries.
- Work to ensure quarterly VAT returns prepared accurately and on time. Submission of returns via Group VAT.
Monthly MI Reporting
- Manage the preparation and delivery of MI to meet requirements, including Headcount reporting, d
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience and track record of successful delivery in a Finance/MI environment.
- Able to work in a pressurised environment, manage priorities effectively and see issues through to resolution
- Ability to manage multiple Workstreams at the same time across different business lines
- knowledge of the securities industry and global market infrastructure - desirable
- Relationship management and networking skills
- Team player and people motivator and track record in delivering to demanding timescales.
