Morgan Stanley's Corporate Treasury Department manages funding, liquidity, and capital for Morgan Stanley. We are responsible for providing financing advisory services to senior management and the business units when it comes to these scarce resources.
We focus on maintaining the Firm's liquidity, accessing multi-currency short and long term financing, optimizing the Firm's capital base, managing the relationships with creditors, managing the Firm's foreign exchange and interest rate exposure and setting up control governance structure.
Our three major centers are in NY, London, and HK. In Asia, in addition to the HK hub, we have presence across Mumbai, Tokyo and Singapore.
We are currently seeking a strong professional to join the HK-based Asia Treasury team. The candidate will be exposed to a wide spectrum of the above Treasury disciplines and related projects by conducting data analysis, preparing presentation and management reports to support across the different teams.
Skills Required:
- University graduate in business, finance or other related disciplines.
- A minimum of 4-6 years of related work experience in a top-tier financial institution, with a deep understanding of Treasury activities, including some of the above disciplines.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial industry and well versed in corporate finance concepts spanning across accounting, tax and treasury fields.
- Highly motivated individual, excellent team player, strong appetite to learn and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in spoken and written English; Putonghua (business conversant) a plus.
- Excellent judgment and inter-personal / communication skills, can work independently.
