* Assist in coordination and execution of financial planning sessions (quarterly/annually) * Assist in operating pulse reviews with management. * Create process documentation where applicable. * Engage in Six Sigma methodologies (digitization/simplification) * General ledger research and variance analysis. * Provide financial analysis (overhead/headcount) * Balance sheet investigations. Qualifications/Requirements: * Must be full-time student currently enrolled in 4 year-college or university program pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, math or related field. * Must commit to working year-round (minimum of 2 semesters) * Must be able to work 20-25 hrs/wk during the school year (around class schedules) and 40 hrs/wk during the summer. * Must hold and maintain a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average. * Skills required - Excel/PowerPoint Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Desired Characteristics * 1-2 semesters of accounting and/or finance coursework completed. * Minimum of 1 year left before graduation. * Good interpersonal and communication skills. * Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines. * Self-motivated, responsible and disciplined. * This position is located in Louisville, KY and does not offer relocation.
