Finance IT Business Analyst recruitment
Leading Investment Bank is seeking an experienced Finance IT Business Analyst. The team is responsible Global delivery of Product control and Finance systems, as well as designing and delivering the PL analysis and reporting systems.
Day to day responsibilities include analysing functional and non functional business requirements for finance related projects, preparation and completion of design documents to meet application and integration requirements and getting required sign off’s. The successful candidate will also be required to work with other areas of the bank and other IT teams to gather relevant business knowledge to complete the above. Although this is a BA role as and when required project manager related work such as input to project plans, status and risk issues will be required.
The successful candidate must have a broad understanding of financial products specifically FX, and Rates. Previous project work in a related field i.e. product control, or Finance IT is essential as is previous experience in documenting and analysing relevant functional requirements. Candidates must also have a good knowledge of Excel, SQL, and Sybase. Knowledge of Java would preferable but not required.
