Finance Manager – Banking recruitment
Our client is one of the most dynamic and reputable International Corporate Banks in the world, they have a very strong and long standing presence in Asia and a focus on continual growth and strategy in this market. They are renowned for developing their employees and offering a stable and highly dynamic working environment.
We are currently seeing an experienced Finance Manager to join their Leadership Team in their Hong Kong branch. This is a highly visible role within the organization and you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 Accounting specialists and reporting directly to the General Manager.
In this position you will be responsible for driving continual process re-engineering, leading a team, working closely with Senior Management on BAU activities and providing timely advice on strategic initiatives within the business.
Your responsibilities include:
- Oversight of the Finance department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions
- Ensure timeliness, accuracy and usefulness of financial and management reports for internal and external regulators
- Assist senior management with strategic initiatives and strategic planning
- Develop robust budgeting and forecasting reports for the business
- Coordination of audit activities and ensure all external reports are filed correctly and within the timeframe
To assume this position you will be CPA qualified and possess over 8+ years Finance experience, experience working within the Banking industry and exposure to local regulators is essential. You will be fluent in English and Mandarin and have proven leadership capabilities.
