About the Job
This is an excellent opportunity to join this leading Manufacturing business in the role of Financial Manager. While the primary focus of the role is the effective leadership of the accounts and transactional team, a major focus of this role will be to support the General Manager, help to improve the month end reporting process to enable the Financial Accounting team to increase their impact to the business. This will involve reducing the month end timetable to a week so that the majority of your time will be spent liaising with the business.
You must have strong negotiating skills improving cash flow through managing aged debts. The role will involve project work, including finance systems development the constant review of processes and procedures. You will inspire your immediate reports and the wider team, with the desire and drive to impact this new Management team. You must have a Manufacturing sector experience by a qualified account or QBE.
