Our client is a well established business within the medical industry that develops, manufactures and promotes its products globally. European listed, they have close to 4000 employees internationally. Their Australian business has a lean but effective business model and they are currently seeking a Finance Manager to assist the Australian General Manager with the financial and operational strategy of the business.
The role is responsible for the full finance function for the Australian operations. This includes meeting all statutory obligations regarding the preparation and lodgement of financial accounts and returns, and providing management reports. Primary duties will include:
- Development of the organisation's financial strategy
- Providing support and technical expertise in the areas of financial management, financial analysis, policies and procedures
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements
- Management of the budgeting process and regular reporting
- Manage the evaluation and risk assessment of organsation long term financial position
CA/CPA qualified you will ideally have substantial commercial and management experience within health, high end technologies or manufacturing industries. Previous exposure to a large ERP system as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines and multitask are essential. The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced senior financial professional with strong business acumen and have an established, dynamic and engaging leadership style.
