Additional information about the role:
* Reports to Head of Finance
* 4 reports
* Base salary up to $140k + super
* Ideally C.A qualified (though open to CPA)
* Insurance experience is a must. Life insurance experience is preferred
* Ex Big 4 - ideally someone who has left and worked in a commercial environment
* Min 6+ years experience in reinsurance / Insurance
* Life Insurance (or General Insurance) technical knowledge and experience
* Excellent Excel skills
* Good attention to detail
* Flexible team player who enjoys working on complex and challenging issues
* An analytical, challenging approach
* The ability to understand, analyse and explain complex concepts
* The ability to write clearly and concisely, in particular for the preparation of
* committee papers/internal memos as required
* Well organised in dealing with competing priorities and meeting deadlines
* Results focused A "Can do" approach to getting the job done - high degree of initiative and accountability. Strives to produce and deliver superior results to all stakeholders.
* Excellent project and people management skills
* Multiple stakeholder management skills. Ability to develop a good rapport with key stakeholders in the business. Foster integration and teamwork by promoting collaboration, co-ordination, and teamwork across individuals, business units and cultures.
