Exclusive to Hays we have an excellent opportunity to join Oxfam as Finance Manager (Retail). This newly created role is of vital importance to the UK wide retail division of Oxfam. The role is crucial to support the network of over 650 shops generating revenue circa £90 million per annum. As Finance Manager (Retail), you will have two important parts to play:- Commercial Support and Controls/Processes. As a Business partner to the retail network you will focus specifically on the sale of purchased goods, which currently has revenue circa. £7-9 million per annum. The aim is to develop and grow profit in this area.

You will be a highly skilled, commercially focussed Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA). You will have proven track record of supporting business managers make commercial decisions by providing accurate information. This role will allow you to demonstrate your experience of adding value and improving controls in various key areas such as purchasing, warehousing and sales.

The successful candidate will be able to think about financial issues strategically and act as a sounding board to the key decision makers by devolving reports, KPI’s and answering queries. They will have experience of Stock/Retail. Strong IT skills (Microsoft Dynamics Nav) are essential as are strong written narrative skills, attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.
