Finance Manager, Asset and Liability Management (Reputable Chinese Bank), 60-80k recruitment
The Company
Our client is a Chinese based financial institution with strong presence in Asia Pac with a strong track record of success and excellence in the region. In Hong Kong, they cover Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Retail Banking businesses. Due to a recent team restructuring, the regulatory reporting team is currently looking for a Section Head to manage a team of 10 staff.
The Role
- Ensure all regulatory reports are prepared in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Responsible fro all accounting and finance-related matters of the Bank.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with related parties for financial regulatory reporting.
- Establish, review and advise on Bank policies and departmental procedures for effective management control.
- Follow up and assess the impact of emerging HKAS, IFRS on the Bank.
- Perform financial impact analysis on statutory ratios (e.g. CAR, Liquidity ratio, Large exposures, etc)
- Coaching and identifying development opportunities for subordinates.
- Supervise the preparation of procedure manual in respect of regulatory reporting.
Your Profile
You should be a Qualified Accountant with at least 6 - 8 years of relevant experience gained from banking industry. As a Section Head of Regulatory Reporting team, you should possess solid experience in preparing full set of HKMA returns including CAR, IRR, Liquidity Risk, Large exposure, RMB, etc. Basic understanding of Macau and China Regulatory Reporting would be an advantage but not a must.
