Finance Manager / Assistant Accountant

Job in Leeds for an experienced Assistant Accountant/Finance Manager.

A market leading company in the Leeds area are working exclusively with Hays to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant or Finance Manager. The role will involve the management of a team of four staff, including a Purchase Ledger Controller, Payroller, Credit Controller and Accounts Assistant. The job is also extremely hands on from an accounting point of view, and all applicants must be experienced with the production of Monthly Management Accounts.

The role will involve:
Day to day management of the finance team including monthly 121's, reviews etc.
Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts
Production of budgets and forecasts
Maintenance of the fixed asset register
Production of various reports for Senior Management including analysis and commentary
Balance sheet reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
