Finance Manager – Central Finance recruitment
The role has broad visibility to a number of functions across the business and requires someone who is tenacious, meticulous and is willing to develop and grow themselves as the business develops with them.
As a key member of the divisional finance function, the Finance Manager will have a sound technical knowledge and a good understanding of Central operations and of the key drivers of value within the business. An in depth knowledge of SAP (including Business Objects) is essential and super user status is preferred.
The jobholder will be responsible for:
- Internal financial reporting including the detailed review of analytical reviews and financial analysis prepared by other members of the team
- Tax VAT affairs of the Central division and the consolidation of divisional tax reporting.
- Balance sheet reconciliation review and controls PL reviews of designated businesses.
- Provide project accounting support and technical guidance.
- Supporting Banking Division employees in the execution of their roles by providing analytical input and information as required.
- Working closely with the FPA and Finance Business Partner on cross-functional issues as required.
- Significant ad hoc queries and analysis
Person profile:
- ACA or CA, or equivalent.
- Advanced IT skills (SAP (including Business Objects) /Powerpoint/Excel)
- A strong track record of delivering effective reporting under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Can demonstrate experience of collaborating with and influencing others across functional and geographic boundaries.
- Strong financial control and audit background.
- Ideally 3 years PQE.
