Finance Manager / Chief Accounting Officer recruitment
Our client is a major global Insurance group, headquartered in USA. They now seek a Finance Manager / Chief Accounting Officer to work closely with the CFO to run the General Insurance finance operation in Hong Kong.
You should have at least 7 years post graduate experience and have sound experience of all aspects of accounting with good knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and PRC tax issues. At least part of your experience should have been gained within the Insurance sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare company annual audit financial statements, reports and tax computations
- Prepare Insurance Authority Compliance returns including the General Business Return and the Statement of Assets and Liabilities
- Identify monthly management report variances for reporting analysis
- Develop and monitor finance’s operation procedures and guidelines
- Resolve finance related queries and daily operation issues
- Supervise team members in daily accounting operation processes
- Co-ordinate with other departments including Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims and Information Systems for the resolution and treatment of technical issues
