Finance Manager – Corporate – Maternity Contract – London recruitment
Finance Manager - Corporate - Maternity Contact - Our Client the property management arm of a global real estate investor are seeking a Finance Manager to come on board within their Central London finance department to work with an existing close-knit team to cover maternity leave. You will manage one finance assistant who manages the AP function and be required to fulfil the following duties: -
- Prepare monthly management accounts and send to European Controller for group consolidation process.
- Prepare and post monthly and quarterly journal entries.
- Assist with reporting to local accounting standards.
- Co-ordinate all Tax compliance, work closely with US tax advisors and London finance team.
- Prepare quarterly VAT reports and liaise with European Controller to comply with FSA regulations.
- Manage financial processing to include; bank posting, bank reconciliations, petty cash, billing, budget analysis.
- Report to Development Director to ensure new starters contracts are in place.
- Manage Payroll / HR for employees to include P11Ds, pension plans.
- Be point of contact for external auditors and respond to internal queries from finance team.
The Person: To apply for the position you MUST have at least 5 years’ experience of working within a commercial finance department and ideally be qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or alternatively qualified by experience. You MUST be extremely organised and have good hands on technical accounting experience and exposure to IFRS / UK GAAP / US GAAP. You will also be required to improve efficiency and have strong analytical experience to highlight solutions for this. You will have worked at Controller level previously and be able to communicate at all levels and ideally have used JD Edwards / Oracle or similar. This is a good role with an extremely reputable firm.
