Finance Manager – Governance and Regulatory recruitment

Key Responsibilities

Entity Governance

Responsible for ensuring compliance with ever increasing regulatory governance requirements including keeping documentation (eg ICAAP) up to date and best practice for the seven regulated entities.
Lead UK Finance input to regulated entity capital planning and forecasting.
Implement entity SYSC framework keeping up to date
Enhance UK corporate structure planning and analysis to improve efficiency and better target information for Finance and key stakeholders.
Pulling together project teams of affected stakeholders and infrastrcucture to deliver DB's response to new or existing governance requirements.

Stakeholder Management:

Establish appropriate means of communication and feedback channels with stakeholders - ensuring regular dialogue to flush out potential issues, address reporting changes and any other items that may impact the governance and capital planning of the UK entities.
Establish agreement on overall priorities, expectations and deliverables - challenging the requested detail flows and ensuring efficient working,
Conduct frequent, overall assessment of stakeholder relationship; e.g. assess re-assess status, issues, priorities, next steps
Track delivery issues to stakeholders and resolve and/or escalate as appropriate
Engage in strategy meetings within Finance on stakeholder reporting requirements/implications

Business Solutions:

Drive the delivery of solutions to meet and improve governance compliance and to meet and regional / entity management demands
Keep fully up to date on governance rules and best practice across the region and deliver full compliance for DB's UK entities.
Deliver UK Entity capital review and planning
Key stakeholders and clients to include;

You will Have:

FSA regulatory knowledge BASEL II - III
IFRS, UK GAAP knowledge
Forecasting and planning experience
Effective communication skills
Project management / co-ordination skills
Time management skills
Issue tracking, follow up and resolution experience
UK regulatory knowledge
