We are currently seeking a self-motivated, experienced accounting professional as a Finance Manager for our Charlotte headquarters location.
The Finance Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting as well as developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, payroll, and year-end audit preparation.
Position Responsibilities include:
- Reconcile all contracts/rate proposals and final billing paperwork
- Analyze job profitability
- Maintain all insurance, tax, state, city and county certificates licenses
- Accurate coding and entry of accounts payable
- Prepare and review financial statement package with management
- Process weekly payroll for admin and production staff ensure timely payment of taxes
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
- 3+ years in general and cost accounting
- Highly competent using Quickbooks
- Industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong problem solving, data analysis and teamwork skills are essential
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, meet deadlines and work independently
- Extraordinary attention to details
- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Superior math skills with a high aptitude for figures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must pass background and drug screen
