Finance Manager Job in Dedham, Massachusetts US
Responsibilities
The Financial Manager is a key member of the Consumer Banking Distribution Finance team supporting Customer Service Operations and Online Banking business groups and reports to the Director of Finance. Specific responsibilities include:
- Manage the monthly close and reporting processes for Customer Service Operations and Online Mobile Banking. Prepares monthly accruals to ensure the validity of reported results. Develops concise insightful commentary and identifies risks and opportunities to stated targets.
- Leads the Customer Service Operations and Online Mobile Banking planning processes including the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts. Communicates planning assumptions, sets the timelines for deliverables, consolidates submissions and develops executive level presentations.
- Develops and tracks key analytics in order to assess and communicate business performance.
- Develop and update business cases and ad hoc other project work.
- Partners with key stakeholders in order to administer and improve critical financial processes including financial tools and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, advanced degree preferred
- Self starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience, banking experience preferred
- Proficiency in Essbase and Microsoft Office products
This position may be located in either Dedham, MA or Warwick, RI based on the preference of the selected candidate.
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
