Corporate Finance Manager
An emerging publicly traded technology company located in Orange County is looking to expand their corporate finance team. This position is newly created due to company expansion and will be instrumental in adding foresight to critical decisions made by business groups.
Salary:
Finance Manager – to 120K plus bonus
Description:
§ Manage the analysis and preparation of the forecast, strategic planning and annual operating plan
§ Supports in-depth analysis of all aspects of business operations, particularly in profitability analysis (gross margin reporting)
§ Support the business operations by providing management with variance and forecasting tools
§ Develop budget and business performance metrics including KPI metrics and dashboard reporting
§ Develop analysis pre/post financial close, variance analysis and reporting, variance forecasting and planning, out-sales analysis, promotion modeling, and standard expense / budget analysis
§ Prepare business analysis for various operation functions and explanations for monthly, quarterly, bi-annual results
§ Track performance of business unit Key Operating Drivers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in areas of Accounting or Finance, an MBA or seeking an MBA a plus
- A solid, demonstrated understanding of core accounting principles and financial concepts
- Ability to create complex financial models
- Manager – 7+ years of experience (2+ years of supervisory experience)
- Detail oriented
- Ability to communicate complex issues simply
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills required including V look up and Macros (general proficiency with all other MS Office applications)
- Access and VBA knowledge a plus
- Demonstrated ability to flourish in a fast paced, fluid environment
