Job responsibilities will be: - Responsible for financial statements preparation - Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports - Monitor cash and investments - Monitor accounts receivable and analyze cash flow - Develop profit plan and expense budget - Work closely with external and internal auditors - Implement final budget - Complete company prepared worksheets for year-end audits - Manage payroll process and review quarterly payroll taxes The ideal candidate will have: - Bachelors degree in accounting or finance, MBA or MS a plus - CPA preferred - 5+ years of accounting experience - 3+ years of experience working in insurance industry - Knowledge of financial and accounting principles, auditing standards, business law and tax - Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues - Detail oriented and self motivated - ACCPAC experience a plus This is an excellent direct hire position for the right candidate!
