Finance Manager-Manufacturing
An exciting new job opportunity is being offered by our client in the science manufacturing sector in Camberley, Surrey, for a Finance Manager with Manufacturing and Cost Accounting experience, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with a view to permanent employment for the right candidate.
The Finance Manager job will include:
- Revenue recognition, accruals, prepayments and stock
- Variance analysis
- Sales reporting, gross margin analysis and stock reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Cashflows and forecasts prepared on a weekly basis
- Purchase ledger management
- Cashbook management using Excel
- Bank reconciliations
- Timely collation of payroll data for submission to bureau, and payment action
- PAYE and pension control
- Journal preparation and posting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
This role will involve travel to another site in Bridport, Dorset, on a regular basis where expenses are paid.
A successful candidate will be an ACCA or CIMA qualified or equivalent, with previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment. You will also be able to work in a stand alone role, showing excellent attention to detail and have a proactive nature. Previous experience of Access, Sage and Excel will be beneficial, as will experience of manufacturing cost analysis and purchasing controls.
Offered on a 12 month fixed term contract initially, with a view to the right candidate being taken on as a permanent member of staff.
The Camberley location is easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Basingstoke, Farnborough, Aldershot, Farnham, Bracknell and Reading, and is also walking distance from Blackwater train station.
