Moxa Europe GmbH (MEU) - approximately 30 employees - is looking for a Finance Manager who acts as a business partner and provides support to the General Manager and who oversees the whole finance operations in MEU. The Finance Manager will act as primary finance contact with Moxa Headquarter office (MHQ). This position will report directly to the General Manager Europe and will be placed in our European Headquarter office in Unterschleißheim near Munich.
Major Area of Responsibility:
- Operation of result analysis, forecasting, budgeting.
- Manage monthly/year end closing process and interface with MHQ to provide timely monthly/year end reports.
- Monitor and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliation and perform PL analyses to ensure integrity of local accounts.
- Maintain Chart of Account, Cost Center list, and accounting policy.
- Responsible for implementation of group policies and procedures rolled out by MHQ.
- Implement and improve financial controls and operating procedures to ensure that accounting and internal controls of the highest standard are maintained.
- Support MHQ credit manager to monitor collection process and deal with credit issues as they arise.
- Responsible for cash flow management and supervise Accounts Payable to ensure payments to suppliers are made on time.
- Act as key contact with auditors regarding yearend audit and preparation of annual accounts and tax returns.
- Ensure compliance of tax and other local requirements and timely filing of returns.
- Personnel responsibility (1 person).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 6 years experience in Finance with relevant accounting experience in an multinational corporation environment.
- Chartered Professional Accountant preferred.
- Good systems knowledge, SAP is a plus.
- Familiar with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent (written and spoken) in English.
