Job description
As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
--Management of the overall operations of the Luxembourg office
--Reponsable for General-ledger Accounting and related reconciliations in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP
--Corporate reporting in accordance with US GAAP
--Treasury Accounting and related system reconciliations
--Inter-company accounting
--Month-end and year-end close
--Compliance with local and corporate accounting policies
--Liaising with auditors and preparation for audits
--Management of accounting projects, processes and technology
--Taxation responsibilities, including transfer pricing, and review/ approval of all VAT registrations returns, other local tax filings
--Responsible for local regulatory filings
--Responsable for developing and maintaining internal controls
Who we are looking for
--Financial Accounting degree, preferably qualified chartered accountant
--7+ years of relevant work experience
--Experience in a multi-national and changing environment
--Detailed knowledge of IFRS US GAAP; knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP will be an advantage.
--Very strong English (written and verbal). German will be an advantage.
--Knowledge of local regulatory environment is an advantage
--Experience with the Dynamics GP (Great Plains) ERP software package a plus
--A strong analytical and problem solving background, ability to think critically, high attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced and high pressure environment
--Ability to identify and address process gaps and implement improvements
