General summary:
LEM is in the process of converting all of its European entities into branches of LEM Deutschland GmbH. Reporting to the Group CFO and to the Managing Director of LEM Deutschland, the Finance Manager is fully responsible for the Finance Administration function in LEM Deutschland.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To cover all European agency branches (DE, IT, AT, UK, DK, FR, BE)
- Accounting in HGB and IFRS in the Group ERP: QAD
- Payroll, via local payroll providers
- Cash management
- Tax management, with local providers, including transfer price documentation
- Reporting and budgeting, in accordance with Group guidelines
- Support in administrative and legal issues
- Actively support the conversion process to the single European entity, ensure efficiency effectiveness of setup
- Maintain procedures and methods for all duties
- Link to auditors, ensure internal controls
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Minimum five years of experience in varied positions of financial accounting and responsibilities
- Know-how and ability to adapt to international concepts of reporting
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and German. French in addition would be a plus
- Mature and autonomous, successful professional experience in a small structure working in an international context
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, committed to milestones and deadlines
- Proactive, dynamic, multi-tasking, flexible, competent, organized and detail-oriented
- Team ability
