Finance Manager – Nordics recruitment

Ipsen has a direct presence in Sweden through a subsidiary in Stockholm (Kista) which takes charge of Nordic countries operations (Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark). The Nordic region has a turnover of 20 million euro and has seen 20% year on year growth in sales since its launch in 2007.
Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager for the Nordics the Finance Manager must manage and develop the finance department to ensure timely and accurate financial data for internal and external reporting needs. Supported by three staff the Finance Manager will work closely with the General Manager delivering strategic insight and direction for the business across the Nordics. Furthermore your remit will extend to management of IT and logistics across the region.
The main responsibilities in the role include:
- Strategic input through analysis of the market and company results
- Lead on the annual budget setting process
- Ownership of statutory requirements
- Controlling and Budgeting
- Sales forecasting
- Currency consolidation
- Risk Analysis
Requirements
- The right candidate for the role will have a flexible mind set with a willingness to adopt a 'hands on' approach when the need arises in the finance department
- You must have previous experience in a broad finance role including both accounting and controlling and an ability to think on a macro level to support the General Manager
- Experience of a Nordic organisation, consolidation, or IT and Logistics responsibility would be considered a merit but are not essential
- Fluency in Swedish and English is essential
