Finance Manager – Operations recruitment
Responsibilities would include managing a team of 7 finance staff, whom are involved in company-level accounting, and operational aspects of the Trading segment in the Group; managing the entire financial process including financial reports for the monthly/ quarterly/ annual close process; review of the financial statements in accordance with statutory reporting and company requirements; review of the quarterly GST returns, overseeing subsidiary tax filing, annual corporate tax returns and statistics filing; involvement in cash flow and treasury management; weekly working capital management and monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting; involvement in operational aspects of the trading business; required to co-ordinate with external auditors and managing audit requirements; working closely with management, various departments and financial controllers in the group for issues ranging from fund movement, tax and legal matters, review of processes and agreements, etc.; and involvement in process improvements, ad hoc projects etc.
The successful candidate will be CPA qualified with at least 6 years' post CPA experience; strong functional accounting and finance skills (accounting, controlling, compliance, tax and audit); good verbal, written and interpersonal skills; and good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
