Finance Manager recruitment
Responsibilities:
Management Reporting
- Consolidate and review quarterly country submissions, drill down to the underlying business drivers and provide senior management with in depth analysis of the business performance.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance. Produce a monthly Financial Management Report for the the board well as consolidated regional monthly performance pack.
- Proactively look for better ways to provide the information through improved analysis or reporting process
Ad hoc Analysis:
- Provides analysis on Financial KPIs as required by Senior Management on IFRS Operating Profits, Free Surplus Generation, New Business Profits, EEV Operating Profit etc.
- Manage specific initiatives as required on expenses, AIB, FRM e.t.c
- Perform financial analysis and due diligence for MA initiatives
- Provide functional support to key systems developments initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Actuarial or Finance.
- 5-7 years experience in Business planning, Reporting function or any other analytical function
- Experience in Life Insurance Industry insurance experience is a must
- Strong analytical skills with ability to handle large amount of data.
- Good project management and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese
