Finance Manager – The Hague – The Netherlands recruitment
The firm is a leading specialist fund manager focusing on Africa, the Middle East and the Asian frontier markets. It is headquartered in United Kingdom n and has offices in among others South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, UAE and Morocco. The company has centralized its operations functions (back office, legal, finance, marketing,...) in The Hague in The Netherlands.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for:
-Timely preparation of the monthly management accounts to auditable standards
-Preparation of ad hoc management reports with variance analysis
-Liaison with professional advisers, regulators and tax authorities
-Responsible for authorising cash movements
-Preparation of FSA reporting on Gabriel
-Represent Finance across the business and implement policies/procedures as appropriate
As such, the successful Finance Manager will have the following skills and experience:
-3-5 years track record
-Affinity with Asian, Arab and/or African markets
-Preferably Financial Services experience (Asset Management, Private Equity)
-Preparation of annual audited accounts and annual budgets
-Good Excel skills with the ability to build reports and models is a pre-requisite
-Fluency in English and preferably also in French or Arabic
-Ability to perform within strongly entrepreneurial and multi-cultural environment
