Finance MI Manager

My client, a leading banking organisation is currently recruiting for a Finance MI Manager to join the Wealth Management arm of the business and partner with the business development team specifically.
The role of the business development team is to lead and facilitate across the Wealth business in designing financial and other insight for senior stakeholders. role requires careful stakeholder management to secure clarity and resources to deliver insight and change processes. The role works within a complex stakeholder landscape.
To be successful in this role, the individual needs to have good stakeholder management and communication skills, be more than comfortable with changing priorities, be proactive and have a strong technical finance and systems knowledge to apply in a change and reporting context. Individuals with a strong finance business partner, management reporting or management consultancy background will be of significant interest.
Key responsibilities
*Lead the establishment of monthly reporting and forecasting of client transition in UK Wealth
*Act as a financial steward to the client transition team
*Design and run a monthly financial analysis of the impact of client movements
*Manage and report on financial KPIs for new distribution models
*Support ad hoc financial analysis for the Wealth Exco
*Support the development of Customer Profitability analysis and a single customer view based on available information
*Facilitate analysis of the specified portfolios where appropriate
*Motivate and develop one direct report

The person

*Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or overseas equivalent)
*Experience within the Wealth Management field will be highly advantageous, although candidates from financial services, consulting or blue chip backgrounds will also be considered.
*Previous Business Partner expertise highly beneficial, as are strong MI and Analytics skills.
*Strong stakeholder management and communications skills.
