Finance Officer

My Client is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join their dynamic team from their Neath Branch.

The main job focus would be to compile financial management reports and statistics for the company and it's subsidiary companies and act as deputy for the Finance Manager.

General Responsibilities;
To prepare first stage month end accounts and prepare/analyse the monthly management accounts pack for approval by the Vice Principal: Financial Services
To take an active role in the preparation, production and analysis of the year end financial reports for all companies and subsidiaries within the group
To reconcile General Ledger control accounts on a monthly basis
To reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
To produce financial reports and analyse as requested

The ideal candidate must have;
Experience of working with computerised accounting systems (Pegasus Opera is desirable).
Experience of working within a busy accounts department
Excellent MS Excel skills
You must hold a recognised accounting qualification (AAT technician minimum).
Experience working within the public sector is essential.
