The organisation endeavours to identify, promote and develop the interests and needs of the Charters Towers community through the provision of a diverse range of programs and services. Services are offered through a range of programs including Community Housing, Community Support, Disability Support, Emergency Relief, Family Support, Healthy Lifestyle, Parent Community Engagement, Personal Helpers and Mentors / Carer Respite, and a Rural Multi-Tenant Service Centre. These services work collaboratively to meet the aims and objectives of the programs and the organisation. About the Positions: Finance Officer: The Finance Officer will provide bookkeeping and payroll services for the Charters Towers Neighbourhood Centre Inc. to ensure that its programs fulfill their accountability obligations and provide an efficient service. Family Support Worker PaCE: The Family Support Worker PaCE will develop resources for parents, families and community to facilitate participation in educational decision making. Additionally, the PaCE position is responsible for developing a volunteer program for parents, families and community that seeks to ensure that the program meets the growth and sustainability needs of its target group. Support Worker: The Support Worker will provide support and develop services that promote and enhance quality of life for persons with disabilities and their families.
